Who We Are
For the ones too ambitious to play small.
Too smart to wing it.
Too driven to wait.
For the founders that build the ladder as they climb it.
For the municipalities that want to see past the plans and make progress.
For the mission-driven teams that exist to prioritize impact over optics.
They bring their restless and relentless drive.
We bring our grit, creativity, and all-hands-on-deck discipline.
Together, we get the work done.

Our Process
Leadership

Lesley Thompson
Specialties
Lesley is the person organisations call when the plan isn't working and the stakes are too high to guess why. She embeds directly with leadership teams — not to advise from a distance, but to find what's broken, build what's missing, and leave behind systems that outlast her involvement. Across cleantech, medtech, economic development, Indigenous partnerships, and venture finance, she has done this again and again for 15 years.
That range is not accidental. At BDC, she spent five years managing SME portfolios at Canada's national development bank — evaluating business models, structuring financing, and building the pattern recognition that lets her walk into almost any organisation and see the real problem inside the first week. As CEO of ACCFutures, she ran a $10M regional venture and loan fund, assessed hundreds of companies for investment, and built lasting economic development partnerships across Akwesasne, Cornwall, and SDG. As VP at a high-growth cleantech company, she led the cross-functional work that carried it through a successful private equity acquisition. Now, through LPT & Co., she is building a consulting and AI products firm purpose-built for community-scale organisations that are too often left behind by tools and expertise designed for enterprise.
She chairs the Launch Lab Regional Innovation Centre and has served as a director of Community Futures Eastern Ontario and the Southern Ontario Fund for Investment in Innovation.
Notable engagements

- Led cross-functional strategy at a high-growth cleantech company through a successful private equity acquisition, securing over $3M in grants and expanding operations into Taiwan, Korea, and the US.
- Directed a $10M equity investment and community loan fund, assessing hundreds of ventures and structuring both equity and debt financing across multiple communities.
- Forged partnerships with Indigenous communities, establishing a Truth and Reconciliation consultancy for regional development projects.

Greg Pietersma
Specialties
Greg builds the technical systems and strategic scaffolding that turn decision intelligence from concept into working infrastructure. He designs and operates LPT & Co.'s private AI stack, an on-premise servers running open-source models, vector databases, and automated agent workflows, giving the firm and its clients sovereign, secure access to AI without relying on enterprise SaaS platforms built for someone else's scale.
That technical capability sits on top of 30 years of hands-on operating experience. Greg ran Pietersma Tinworks for three decades, carrying every dimension of small-business ownership. As Chair of the Upper Canada District School Board and Executive Director of two regional economic development organisations, he governed complex, multi-stakeholder institutions and advised more than 150 entrepreneurs on business modelling, pricing strategy, and capital readiness — 95% of whom now operate as sustainable ventures.
